Our objective
Kyiv Free Press is a media outlet which was created in order to promote democratic freedoms by uniting our international community of free thinkers and documenting unique perspectives related to Ukrainian culture, society, history, and security amid the most critical defense of humanity in modern times.
Philosophy & Vision
The most fundamental technology ever known to mankind is communication. Thus it is no surprise that a human right as innate as speech remains threatened in even the most developed nations, where time and time again, power often goes hand in hand with silence, censorship, and subjugation of the common voice.
We believe that in order for the world to advance and prosper, freedom of speech must be practiced in order to be kept free.
We aim to achieve this by contributing to the current media climate by giving voice to untold stories, connecting with others, seeking truth, and understanding each other.
Launched out of the heart of Kyiv, the world capitol of freedom during Ukraine’s critical fight for sovereignty, Kyiv Free Press is an independent journalism project, with zero strings attached to neither government nor special interest groups. We operate out of free will, on a 100% unpaid volunteer basis.

Defense
Anywhere from inter/national security issues to individual war stories,we want to hear the voices of both Armed Forces and civilians, defense industry stakeholders, volunteers, intel, educators in security, military journalists and historians, etc.
Politics
We seek to raise awareness on pressing political and legislative issues, we invite insights from lawyers, advocates, representatives, grassroots activists, industry experts, educators, historians, as well as citizens impacted by laws and politics.
Business
We aim to showcase cutting edge developments across a wide range of industries that serve to promote free trade, enhance international partnership, and strengthen global alliance, from large scale enterprises, to start-ups, to small businesses and brick and mortar.
Culture
We want to tap into the latest from thriving communities within venues, galleries, salons, theaters, cafes, nightclubs, hot-spots, symphonies, including musicians, DJs, events, crafts, local, national, and global artists, comedians, public figures, writers, patrons, aficionados, etc.
